Now I have been in my new home a week I thought I would let you know how I am getting on...
ON the whole I like it here. I didnt like being alone in my crate for the first couple of nights even though I had toys and 2 other dogs in the room with me... However I have now decided I quite like it and I try very hard to be clean in it too.
My sister and my foster sister get a bit rough with me sometimes but I really throw myself into it and I can do snarls and make the silly lurcher one yelp if I dig my needle teeth in her ear. My old brother lets me climb on him and I like to lie on him if mum or dad arent around to provide a lap. I have discovered that when mum does the outside dogs with the big solid feet in the mornings I can get in bed with my dad. He seems to love it when I nibble his ear.
I have learnt to wear a collar and disc, walk around the farm off the lead, and to sit which I am especially good at. My recall is excellent as long as there is food involved. I stay away from the big woolydogs and the ones with the hard feet and long neck hair but I like the ones they call cats. I usually snuggle with them but sometimes I bark at them and make them lash their tails but I never get close enough to get smacked-I'm not daft.
I miss you and my pals and my mum but not too badly and my mum says I am a bold little thing. I get lots of kisses, and nobody tells me off if I make mistakes like eating shoes. I am looking forward to something called 'the pub' when I am older as I am told someone up there has 2 whippets like me. Mum is going to get me a dashing wardrobe to make them jealous.
Thank you for caring for me when I was little and making it easy for me to go into the big wide world. When mum downloads the camera I shall send you some pictures
Love and licks

PS I didnt even wince when I got my microchip-what a hero!
